Bought a used car – that’s how I roll

Here’s How I Roll

I’m known among my friends as the guy who can always find the best deal when looking at all the used cars Toronto has to offer. Everyone is just blown away because I have now bought 3 used cars that run great, last longer than they’re expected to, and don’t cost a fortune.

How do I do it? It’s pretty simple: I take my time.

Yeah, that’s it. There’s no secret. I know what I want, what I don’t, and what I’m willing to bend on. Then, I spend a lot of time researching. I don’t really sit down and think, “Okay, now it’s time to research used cars for a few hours.” I’m not that formal about it. I have an app on my phone that I use to find what might be good buys. Then, I spend some time looking at those makes and models to find out if there are any recalls or problems that keep coming up.

Once I have a good idea of what I want and have narrowed it down to 2 or 3 different cars, I usually start looking around at the dealerships. Sometimes, I drag this out for weeks, popping in after work one day just to show them I’m interested but not too interested. I find my dealerships on by the way.

Eventually, I get a little more serious and go on a test drive with the few that I’ve narrowed it down to. Then I wait a few days and think it over. Once I decide, I’m pretty much done making the dealerships sweat. I go right in and am ready to close the deal. It’s worked for me, I’ve had a lot of good luck and really haven’t felt taken advantage of.

You might be wondering why I need 3 used cars. Well, one is a truck I use for work. That was the first used car I bought, actually, because I didn’t want the new car that I had at the time to get all dirty with work stuff. That car ended up needing the transmission replaced and I was like, uh, nope. So I sold it for parts and bought my second used car. Then I decided I wanted something bigger so I could take both of my dogs out with me so I bought a used SUV.

I love my used cars. The whole process, actually. All you have to do is put in a little time and you’ll come out a winner.

I do the same thing for car insurance. Right after buying a car I go online and search for cheap auto insurance quotes. I generally look for very cheap car insurance no deposit required; since it has all the coverage I need for the best price.

Anyway like always you’ll find the best deals online, especially if you search around a little. I managed to get a great deal here:
